IL to get Autonomous Practice with the signing of HB 421/ GA Legislation

HB 421 in IL has passed and was sent to the Governor for signing. At this time there is no indication that He won’t sign. Look for this to become law around August 20th. He has 60 days to sign off. Great work IL!

Don’t forget to utilize the summer time to contact your local representatives. They are off now and getting an appointment to visit one of them is crucial to creating a relationship with you as a voting citizen and a practitioner. Consider inviting your representative to a meeting or better invite them to your office so that they may see what you do as a Nurse Practitioner.
