HB211

Congratulations to all GA Nurse Practioners on the wonderful news of the passage of HB211. As you know we have been working hard to have our ability to write prescriptions be recognized in the state. The passage of this bill will require that the "provider" writing the prescription be listed on packaging dispensed by a pharmacy. This bill removes the word physician which previously required the collaborating physician name be on the packaging. This bill has passed both the Senate and the House and is now going to the governor for his signature.
