Leadership Meeting Updates

It is our hope that all of you are enjoying the final days of the season with your friends and families. 

There was no formal Business meeting in July. The event in July was a volunteer effort at Medshare as posted earlier.

The Chapter Leaders met August 24th to discuss future meetings and events. We remain positive about the future of our chapter and continue to be committed to all of you. Please contact us if you have any suggestion or thoughts about chapter events.

A reminder to all attending the upcoming Pain Symposium this Thursday. There WILL NOT be a business meeting following the event.

FYI PLEASE SHARE YOUR THOUGHTS In the past we have collected item or money donations to support a group in need for the holiday. This year we are considering donating to local hospice centers. The donation could be time, items used to create a memory for families or cold hard cash. We will announce more about this at the meeting September 16th.

Important dates:
September 12 and 13 STATE CONFERENCE in Macon. Please sign up on the State web page. I hope to see many of you there. I am excited to hear from new members so please look for me.

The next Business meeting will follow the September 16th dinner event at Maggiano's. Please register if you plan to attend the event. 

September 27th will be our Chapter Stone Mountain Event. This is an opportunity to bring family and significant others and take the climb. It is also an opportunity to talk with other members and network. Please indicate if you plan to attend. We hope to see this event as an annual fall event.

We have tentative dates set for the remainder of the year with a call for committee membership on various topics. Please attend the September meeting to hear more about the future events.
