We are pleased to announce our chapter’s signature event, UAPRN Atlanta’s 10th Annual Transition Day, which will be held at the Georgia Nurses Association Headquarters on Saturday, March 2, 2026, from 8:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
This event is designed for graduating nurse practitioner students and newly licensed nurse practitioners, and is open to both UAPRN members and nonmembers. Transition Day aims to support new APRNs as they progress from the RN role into advanced practice.
The program agenda will include sessions on:
- Scope of APRN Practice
- Contract Negotiation
- Clinical Practice Resources
- Protocol Agreement Processes
- Early Career Burnout Prevention for NPs
Breakfast and lunch will be provided.
We encourage you to share this event information widely within the community, particularly with NPs and RNs transitioning into nurse practitioner roles.
