So excited to see everyone!! TOMORROW we have the awesome opportunity to serve others and Lend A Hand at Open Hand Atlanta! If not already signed up, there is still time to join! Details below.

Event: Nurses Lending A Hand UAPRN ATL Community Service Event

Time: 8:45am -12 noon

Location: 181 Armour Dr. NE, Atlanta, GA 30324

Details: Partnering with Open Hand Atlanta to serve those in our community. Choose to help with meal packing or deliver packed meals to homes of vulnerable seniors in the Atlanta community.

Meal Packing: Pack meal boxes to be delivered to vulnerable seniors in the Atlanta community. *COVID vaccination required to help with meal packing.
Meal Delivery: Deliver meal boxes to client homes. Must be willing to drive your own car for delivery. All drivers need to complete a brief online training (details provided when registering for event through Open Hand) and sign a confidentiality and liability waiver prior to day of event. Delivery route begins at 9 and takes approximately 2– 3 hrs. to complete. *COVID vaccination not required.

**Please read carefully **

For Meal Packing:

Closed toe sneakers or nonslip/slip resistant shoes are required for meal packing. No sandals.
Absolutely no jewelry, press on nails or false eye lashes ( jewelry includes but is not limited to wedding rings, bracelets, watches, step-trackers, necklaces, earrings, gauges, cartilage, nose, and permanent piercings).
Long pants are required. No shorts.
No sleeveless shirts or tank tops. A short sleeved t-shirt is fine.

Directions Upon Arrival

Please try to arrive a few minutes early so we can start on time.
Park in the parking lot at 181 Armour Drive, Atlanta, GA 30324.
Come through entrance with hanging “Welcome Volunteers”
Sign-in on the kiosk computer in the front lobby (on your right). ** WE WILL MEET HERE AS A GROUP AT 8:45 am for meal packing to make sure we have everyone before starting **
