Please sign White House Petition to Remove Barriers that Prevent Advanced Practice Nurses from Practicing to their Full Scope

The message below is from a UAPRN member who wanted to post a link to a petition for the Obama Administration to remove restrictions to full scope of practice for APRNs.

The official website of the White House has a petition that needs 100,000 signatures by April 22nd. The site provides a new way to petition the Obama Administration to take action on a range of important issues facing our country. If a petition gets enough support, White House staff will review it, ensure its sent to the appropriate policy experts, and issue an official response. So far, there are 25,000+ signatures and there is a week left to get 75,000. Please click here and sign the petition today (and have your friends, family, and patients sign it as well). Note that you are required to create a simple account before signing the petition to ensure that citizens are actually signing onto the document.
