Photo with Gov Deal

Hello Georgia Nurse Practitioners of All Specialties!
Last week, Governor Nathan Deal signed a proclamation in recognition of the many contributions that NPs make to the populations they serve here in Georgia. I have subsequently scheduled a photo opportunity for us on Tuesday, November 28, 2017 at 10:30AM. We will meet at the Office of the Governor: 203 State Capitol (North Wing), Atlanta, GA 30334
Be It Resolved, therefore, that GOVERNOR Nathan Deal declares November 12 – 18, 2017, as Nurse Practitioner Week in recognition of the countless contributions of 10,030 Nurse Practitioners in Georgia!
Look to see you Tuesday, November 28, 2017! (I tried hard to schedule this on the 27th when many are already at the Capital for the SB188 meeting, but that date was not an option. Sorry!)
Please meet at the Office of the Governor: 203 State Capitol (North Wing), Atlanta, GA 30334.
They schedule other groups at the same time and their staff will work to get everyone in and out as quickly as possible. This will not take much of your time. This allotted time on the Governor’s calendar is for a photo op only. Please feel free to wear your lab coat with your blue scarf if you have one, so you can be spotted!

Visitors have the option of parking in the Capitol Lot, located off Capitol Avenue. The Capitol Lot is a $10 lot.
