Contact your Senator and ask them to “Please vote “yes” for SB 94”.

Dear AANP Georgia Member

Thank you all for your support with phone calls and emails to the Senate committee on SB 94. The bill was successfully voted out of committee last week, and a full Senate vote on SB 94 could happen any day this coming week. Communication to senators is critical. The Medical Association of Georgia and the Georgia Radiological Association are opposing the bill. We are hearing that their grassroots networks are successfully contacting Senators, and that Senators need to hear from NPs to keep the bill moving forward.

Request for your action: Contact your Senator and ask them to “Please vote “yes” for SB 94”. Use this phrase as the subject for e-mails.

Please use the Sample letter & Senate contact list to communicate with your Senator regarding SB 94 by Wednesday. The bill is expected to be on the floor this week (February 25-March 1). If your Senator requests added information, please alert Laura Searcy laurafsearcy@gmail.com.

Please know that your support and efforts on behalf of removing excessive restriction to access to practice and care of patients by APRN's in Georgia is greatly appreciated.

Best Regards,

Bonni Cohen DNPc, ANP-BC, FNP-BC, CHFN
