• Position Type: Locum tenens Nurse Practitioner (contract/travel healthcare job)

• Setting: Acute care – inpatient and outpatient
• Schedule: 4 days of 9-hour shifts
• Hours per Week: 36

Nurse Practitioner Qualifications

• Active Georgia Nurse Practitioner license (acute care NP certification preferred)
• Minimum 1 year of acute care experience in hospital or surgical settings
• Experience in surgical, hospital-based, or clinical support roles a plus
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team
• Excellent communication and organizational skills

Key Responsibilities – Acute Care NP

• Deliver comprehensive patient care for inpatient and outpatient populations
• Provide coverage during high-volume periods and provider leave
• Perform patient assessments, develop care plans, and manage follow-up visits
• See 15–25 office patients per clinic day; manage hospital patients as per census
• No procedural requirements
• Document patient encounters and collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
