Nurse Practitioner- Hormone Optimization/Peptide Therapy Clinic New

The Best You LLC is looking for a Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join us in the start-up and continued operation of a clinic in Dawsonville, GA specializing in Hormone Optimization Therapy for men and women, Hydration IV's, and peptide therapies related to anti-aging, weight loss, muscle gain/performance optimization, cognitive enhancement, etc. This position will be responsible for assisting patients to achieve and maintain optimal hormonal levels and hormonal balance through ordering/reviewing bloodwork and prescribing medications necessary to achieve optimal results. You will also be responsible for assisting patients with peptide regimens in the areas of listed above. Early on, this will also entail performing blood draws and injections.

We are a boutique, individually-owned clinic that will focus exclusively on helping our patients/clients reach THEIR goals of becoming "the best you" by sitting down with them and listening to what THEY feel would help them achieve their vision of their best, and designing a course of treatment to guide them on their journey.

If you currently practice in an HRT (Hormone Replacement Therapy) or TRT (testosterone replacement therapy) clinic, have previously practiced in a clinic, or have a background in hormonal medicine and peptide therapies, but would like an opportunity to participate in the start-up of a clinic and have a real voice in the ongoing operation/success level of a clinic, this could be your ideal unique situation. We're looking for someone to not only start-up with us, but stay with us long-term as a key member of our small team.

As an advanced practice registered nurse, you’ll be our go-to person for ensuring the best patient care possible. You’ll be both a healthcare practitioner and an educator, as we strive to not only provide the services that will make our patients/clients their "best you", but to also educate them on the "whys" and "hows" of their current situation and the recommended course of treatment to achieve their goals.

Responsibilities

• Consult/examine patients and their medical records focusing on patient goals
• Perform blood draws and patient injections as needed
• Order and review diagnostic tests (blood tests, etc.)
• Propose treatment options to patients to assist in meeting patient's goals
• Prescribe medications as needed
• Maintain accurate records and schedules
• Inform patients about their prescribed medications and ongoing course of treatment
• Educate patients on creating wellness vs. treating illness (conventional mentality)

Requirements

• Valid GA Nurse Practitioner license
• DEA License for prescription purposes
• Expertise in Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) for men/women and peptide therapies preferred
• Knowledge of health and patient care regulations
• Excellent communication skills, strong ethics, positive attitude and willingness to play key role in clinic development and growth
• Embrace philosophy of creating wellness rather than treating illness

Job Types: (1) Full-time, (1) PRN

Pay: $67.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 – 40 per week for full-time
