Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant New

Physician First Primary Care is recruiting PRN Nurse Practitioners/Physician Assistants for our facility. We are a hometown owned primary care/walk in clinic based in beautiful Cleveland, Tennessee.

The ideal candidate will be highly skilled in family practice from 6 months of age to elderly and be able to provide exceptional results. Must be kind and accepting of all patients regardless of lifestyle choices.

The position is open for a part time or full time practitioner who is looking to be with their family more or fill in another part time position elsewhere.

Responsibilities include:

• Provide uncompromised care with exceptional bedside manner.
• Work with ancillary staff and others to ensure that our patient’s medical needs are met 100% of the time.
• Prescribe to and administer treatments, monitor patient progress and make adjustments when necessary
• Effectively communicate with staff and administration any problems or discrepancies that might arise
• Document all patient interactions accurately in the electronic health record system
• Create an environment of trust and compassion for the patients and their families throughout their clinical visit
• Comply strictly with medical care and accrediting board regulations and safety standards

Skills

• Proven work experience as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant “experience preferred”
• Knowledge of medical guidelines and procedures regarding examination, therapy and recovery
• Familiarity with advancements in medical technology and current know-how
• Problem solving skills and ability to multi-task, with an emphasis on prioritization
• Caring, kind and compassionate
• Team player with good communication skills
• ACLS Required
